Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a treatment used to restore, maintain and make the most of a patients mobility, function and well being. Physiotherapy helps through physical rehabilitation, injury prevention and health & fitness. A physiotherapist will get you involved with your own recovery. Physiotherapists study the science of movement. They learn how to pinpoint injuries’ root causes and focus on both prevention and rehabilitation. Treatment can be for problems caused by injury, disease or disability. Physiotherapy has been proven to be effective in the assessment, treatment and management of acute and chronic conditions, as well as the prevention of injury, disability and in promoting health & well being.

What to expect at a session?

Your session will be unique to your own specific needs. You will complete a medical history form and then your therapist will assess your condition with you. You will receive a treatment plan that sets goals for you. You will be given a course of exercises and informed of devices needed.
